Strategy 2022-2024

Accelerating the development of Irish companies

Strategy 2022—2024 is an Enterprise Ireland report to run alongside a campaign which launched in January 2022. Their mission is to accelerate the development of world-class Irish companies to achieve leading positions in global markets. The identity suggests elements of a digital future to compliment the campaigns list of ambitions and regional impact statements. The identity included social cards, videos, print media, event assets and a website to launch the report.

To get a fuller understanding of what the campaign needed to symbolise we did a deep dive on Irish companies currently working with EI – part of which was focussed on clients featured in previous campaign videos, example video storyboard below

In tandem we created a moodboard to help guide the client as to the visual direction we were moving towards.

Defining the vision & ambitions of the report. We set about naming the report & campaign. Initial iterations were based on the report name Vision 2030 which had gained traction at an early stage.

Early pitches included this name before eventually being scrapped in favour of Strategy 2022-2024, many reasons for this but main one was pressure from the level of scrutiny coming on public bodies around this time. We also landed on the title ‘Leading in a changing world’ to run the campaign under which fitted naturally into EI’s vision. Throughout the identity we introduced movement of directional lines to symbolise this changing world.

The structure of the site was defined and then we quickly began wireframing – many versions before landing on the below screens

I worked closely with our developer Alex Bradley to create some nice animations and interactions to really pull the website together. Nice little touches including a menubar that hides on scroll, elements that animate into place, subtle parallax scroll on specific headers and an svg map of Ireland that allows you to select defined regions to see their strategy statement for the report

Event assets: Countdown slide and stage layout

CONCLUSION:
Report release event & campaign went off without a hitch
Published in many major TV and online outlets (RTE, Silicon Republic, CNN, etc)
Client is happy with how everything was presented/received
Website delivered with AA accessibility rating
Successfully turned project around with a very short deadline. Whole project took 4 weeks from newly agreed direction to completion (report, website, animated graphics, event & digital campaign assets + more)
